CLS offer the "Master of Arts in Lay Ministry" (MALM) program to the laity according to the Lutheran Doctrine to "fear, love and trust God above all things" as well as to love and share the Gospel with our "neighbors" in responding to God's calling in vocation, family, church, and citizenship. There are four branch school sites in the major cities of Taiwan, and students can take the classes after work at the nearest site. E-learning is also available.

Qualifications of applicants: 

☆Has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications. 

☆Is recommended by the pastor/leader of a church or Christian organization. 

 

Admission procedures

1. Apply to the Lay Education Office of CLS (call or email to request application materials)

 

2. New students (those who are to enroll for the first time in courses offered by the Lay Education Office) need to submit the following application materials:

 

   1) Application form for admission, with a 2-inch photo and a

        photocopy of the ID card.

   2). A recommendation letter by the pastor/leader of a church or

        Christian organization.

   3). A photocopy of your previous diploma.

3. Entrance exam: No entrance exam is required. However, all new students are required to participate in an oral exam to help them clarify their expectations and consolidate their determination in learning how to serve.

 

Tuition:

1. Fee: NT 2,300 dollars per credit

Credits and Diploma:

A diploma of MALM-Masters of Arts in Lay Ministry is awarded after courses of 45 credits are completed.
